Mercer Island

I took a drive around Mercer Island today.

It was sunny and crisp, but not too cold, so I stopped at parks and pullouts along the way to walk around for a bit.

Somewhere on the east side of the island I encountered a minivan or light SUV that was high centered on a sharp drop off where it had fallen over the edge to the drive way below. I stopped to help them out. Another gentleman used my tow rope to pull the stuck vehicle back onto the road.

Apparently Mercer Island is THE place to bike. I passed countless people biking the same route I was driving, in both directions.

Later, I saw six Dodge vipers parked in a row alongside the road.

After a short jaunt through Seattle I drove back home.
